Andy Reed is the former MP for Loughborough who is Director of Sports ThinkTank and Loughborough University Institute for Sport Business. He served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Sports Ministers and was responsible to PM Gordon Brown for the Labour Party 2010 sports manifesto, while also playing a leading role in Government to secure the 2012 Olympics. After leaving Parliament, he was Chair of the Sport and Recreation Alliance until 2016, and served on the Board of the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). Outside of sport Andy has served on the Board of World Vision UK, and is on his Local Enterprise Partnership Board, Leicestershire LEP.
