‘SPORT FOR DEVELOPMENT: WHAT ARE THE PRIORITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE?’

Debra, 18, from Football Beyond Borders will lead next Monday’s @SFDCoalition Twitter takeover

The Sport for Development Coalition will focus on the challenges currently being faced by young people – and how the sector should respond – in its next monthly Twitter takeover.

Debra Nelson, a coach with Football Beyond Borders, will be the guest of the Coalition for next Monday’s takeover entitled ‘Sport for Development: What are the priorities for young people?’

Debra, 18, from Mitcham in south London, was a participant on the FBB programme and is now preparing to go to University. She also coaches with the charity.

She will be answering five pre-set questions during the live Q&A which takes place 8-9pm next Monday.

Join us at the hashtag #SportForDevelopmentCoalition between 8-9pm on Monday 5th October

Anyone working or volunteering in the sport for development sector is invited to join the discussion, either by providing their own answers to the questions live on the night, or adding their own queries directly to our guest. The SFDC will share the best responses.

Things to remember:

  • When tweeting your answer, remember to include a reference to which question you are answering, ie for ‘Q2’ use the prefix ‘A2’, and Q3-A3, Q5-A5 etc.
  • Use the hashtag #SportforDevelopmentCoalition in all of your answers so everyone can see them.
  • Use specific examples, images and videos in your tweets where possible.

Please tell us, or tag us in advance on social media if you intend to get involved, and let others know about the takeover by sharing the questions along with the hashtag.

Thank you for your support!
